  1. This recipe goes fast, please have everything prepared.

  2. In a deep pan, heat oil to 350F. Once the oil is heated, fry the marinated beef in batches for 2 to 3 minutes. Set aside.

  3. Heat 2 tbsp oil and sauté the garlic and ginger for about 2 minutes. Add bell peppers and continue to sauté for another 2 minutes or until your preferred doneness.

  4. Add beef and stir to combine. Add sauce and continue to stir for a couple of minutes.

  5. Add chili flakes and continue to stir until the sauce is thickened.

  6. Finish with chopped scallions.

Tips

  • By adding baking soda to your meat, it will help to tenderize the meat. Therefore, you can buy any cut of meat and it will still be tender.
  • The egg whites and cornstarch will help to seal the juiciness of the beef.
  • You can substitute red bell peppers with broccoli or French beans.
